The “I” is Ignas. The “G” is Greta. We’re a husband-and-wife team running a family-owned deck building and siding installation company out of Johnson City, Tennessee. No corporate office. No franchise territory. Just us — doing the work, running the business, and building a reputation one project at a time in the Tri-Cities.
How I & G Construction Services Started
Ignas has been in the construction trade for over 10 years — framing, building, problem-solving, and learning what it takes to do the job right in every kind of condition. That hands-on experience is the foundation everything else is built on.
We’re originally from Lithuania, and we brought something with us that doesn’t show up on a license or a business card — a deep-rooted work ethic. Where we come from, you don’t cut corners. You don’t leave a job half-done. You show up, you work hard, and you take pride in what you build. That’s not a marketing line. It’s how we were raised, and it’s how we run every project.
We’ve called East Tennessee home for over 10 years. We chose to build our lives here — and eventually, to build our business here. I & G Construction Services LLC was born out of a simple belief: homeowners in the Tri-Cities deserve a contractor who shows up when they say they will, does the work right, and charges a fair price for it.
Today, we specialize in two things — custom residential decks and professional siding installation — for homeowners across Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Jonesborough, and the surrounding communities in Washington, Sullivan, and Carter Counties.

We Build to Code
Every deck and siding project we complete meets or exceeds local building codes. We handle permits and inspections across every jurisdiction in the Tri-Cities — Johnson City Building Inspections, Kingsport’s Department of Planning and Community Development, Bristol Building Inspections, the Jonesborough Historic Zoning Commission when applicable, and the Washington and Sullivan County building departments.

We’re based in Johnson City, Tennessee. We live here. Our kids go to school here. We shop at the same stores our customers do. Professional Siding Installation — We install and replace vinyl siding, James Hardie fiber cement siding, engineered wood siding (LP SmartSide), and board and batten siding.
